Welcoming

I received a warm welcome

I instantly learned how to reach out for help

People have been easily accessible to me whenever I have needed it

I was made to feel like a part of the team early on

Nurturing

I have not had to do anything that I’ve not been comfortable with yet

I’ve been granted the time I feel I’ve needed in order to learn and get up to speed

No one has shown frustration with the fact that I’ve not been up to speed

Purposeful

I understand the purpose of my role and how it fits into the organization

I have a clear understanding of what my responsibilities are and how to perform them correctly

I know how my performance is measured

Effective

I know where to find the resources I need in order to perform my job

I know where to put the resources I produce that others need in order to perform their job

I can do most of my job independently, without others being a bottleneck

I feel like a high-functioning contributor to the team

Efficient

I quickly learned which tools I needed to do my job properly and got sufficient access to all of them

I quickly received the necessary training in order to complete my responsibilities with sufficient quality

I was able to perform all my responsibilities in a satisfactory manner as quickly as I believe is possible for someone with my role and existing know-how

Complete

I know which skills are needed in order to perform the work properly

I know what behavior is acceptable and and not, and am able review the details whenever I forget

I have access to high quality tools and checklists which help me to the work correctly

Transparent

I learned early the steps involved in the onboarding process

I have a good overview of what I am expected to know and how much of it I know so far

Coworkers and other stakeholders know how far along I am towards full operativity

Scalable

The onboarding process does not depend on specific key people in the organization

I would be comfortable onboarding a new person if it was required of me

The onboarding process is highly self-serve (not dependent on existing people in the organization administering it)

Improvable

My impressions of the onboarding were systematically collected as a part of the process itself

I understand how the onboarding process is administered and how it can be improved

I could easily make small adjustments/improvements to the onboarding process myself
